Hey Friends! The person who has impacted me the most besides my mom is my fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Beardsley. On the first day of fourth grade I realized that this wasn’t going to be a standard teacher to student relationship. First things first. Mrs. Beardsley called me Lilybugs. I was the only student she gave a pet name to. Pet names are wonderful! To this day I still communicate with her. On November 30, 2019 I texted Mrs. Beardsley and I said to her, “I’m so blessed that I had you as my fourth teacher. You made everything fun! Yesterday when I was volunteering at The Salvation Army I found this mug that said; “2 teach is 2 touch lives 4 ever.” Which is so true, because you have definitely touched my life, for sure.” Mrs. Beardsley texted me and replied, “Thank you sweet girl! You are too kind!! I’m blessed because you were my student 😉 God knew what he was doing when he put us together!! I love that you’re volunteering. That’s so important!!” She is always encouraging. My favorite thing about her is that she loves the Lord. Since we are so close to each other Mrs. Beardsley started saying to me, “Love ya bunches and bunches!!” So, after our phone calls and some text messages, we say to each other, “Love ya bunches and bunches!!” I love that we do that. One day when I was feeling stressed about life, I sent her a text message. I said, “Mrs. Beardsley, do you have any tips about adulting and independence? Life is so overwhelming and sometimes a little bit scary. If you have any tips can you please share it with me, Mrs. Beardsley?” She replied back and said, “I hear ya sweet girl! Prayer. That’s my tip. He is always working for your good and the plan He has for your life.” I said, “I love that you always know what to say at the right time. Thanks for the tip! I will definitely give it a try. My life verse kinda wraps up what you said. It is proverbs 3:5-6 To refresh your mind Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”.” Mrs. Beardsley replied back and said, “I LOVE THIS ONE TOO!!!” Lastly I replied and said, “😊 I’m glad we love the same bible verse!” Fun fact, about me I repeated third grade, because my parents didn’t think I was quite ready for fourth grade. At the time, I had no idea why my parents would do this. Now that I look back at that, I realize that God intervened and made it possible for me to meet, Mrs. Beardsley. I am so blessed that I did. She inspires me every single day. Mrs. Beardsley treated me like her own daughter, which was very sweet. Love ya bunches and bunches, Mrs. Beardsley!!
P.S. You know you’re always welcome to share your thoughts or similar experiences on any of my posts and future ones too. It will makes my day to hear what God has planned for you.
